Live Streaming

Together with Grandmaster Eric Hansen, I have been creating content on the chessbrah channel for more than 10 years. What started as Eric and me sharing our screens with one another while we played chess has transformed into an engaging live show that thousands tune in to enjoy every day.

Witnessing the growth of our community as the stream has evolved over the years is one of the most rewarding aspects of what I do.

Commentary & Events

Outside of producing live streams and regular videos on the chessbrah channel, I also commentate the top events on the chess calendar. I have been working with Chess.com for more than 10 years, covering international events both online and in-person. Most recently, I hosted the first live fanzone experience at the 2024 FIDE Candidates, and was a lead commentator at the 2025 Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia.

Broadcast Experience

Esports World Cup

The Esports World Cup is a premier annual gaming event where the best professional esports players and organizations compete. This edition featured a record $70 million prize pool and more than 2,000 participants from 100 countries. I was the lead commentator and host live from Saudi Arabia, welcoming chess as a part of the Esports World Cup for the first time.

Speed Chess Championship

The Speed Chess Championship is Chess.com's annual flagship event. The world's top players widely regard this online format as the most effective way to determine the best player. I have been the lead commentator almost every year since its inception, and it remains the most entertaining online event on the calendar.

FIDE Candidates

The FIDE Candidates is an official part of the World Championship cycle. The winner of this tournament challenges the current World Champion for the title. I was responsible for hosting the Fanzone at the event, welcoming chess enthusiasts from all over the world and providing an entertaining and engaging experience. In addition, I provided live commentary as one of the lead analysts.

Chess.com Global Championship

The Global Championship is the first and biggest hybrid event that Chess.com has ever hosted. It features a $1M prize fund and eight of the world’s top players competing live in Toronto, Canada. I was the lead commentator and analyst, marking the first time that I was a part of a professional broadcast in person.
